Miss World Cayman Islands (MWCI) is a local pageant that offers young Caymanian women between the ages of 18-27 the opportunity to compete in the Miss World pageant. The winner of the Miss World Cayman Islands pageant goes on to represent Cayman at the International Miss World pageant, the world’s most prestigious international pageant featuring over 100 contestants and held in a different country each year.

Miss World Cayman Islands was established in 2017 by Director, Pamela J. Ebanks-Small a past Miss Cayman Islands who competed in the Miss Universe and Miss World pageants.

In October 2017, together with a committee, they worked together to send their first representative to Miss World – 24 year old Kristin Amaya.
